Answers before you get started.
Understand what we handle, what you need to provide and how your application moves from submission to completion.
What registrations can RegisterMe handle?+
We currently support Incorporated Trustee, LLC Company Registration, Business Name Registration, standalone SCUML, standalone TIN and Trademark applications.
Do I need to understand the CAC process first?+
No. The platform presents the form and document requirements that apply to your selected service, and our team handles the processing workflow.
What happens after I submit and pay?+
Your application enters document review. We verify the information, begin processing and update the status in your dashboard. If we need anything else, you receive an attention request.
Can I leave the form and continue later?+
Yes. Your application remains as a draft and the guided form supports autosave while you work.
How will I know if another document is required?+
The request appears in your dashboard with direct instructions. You can respond and upload the requested files from the same application.
Are TIN and SCUML included with company registration?+
TIN and SCUML are included in the configured LLC and Incorporated Trustee packages. They can also be ordered as standalone services.
Can you assist with a commercial bank account?+
Where the inclusion is available, you may select it and accept the contact notice. Our team will contact you because bank requirements and approval checks may vary.
How do I receive completed certificates?+
After completion and publication by our team, your documents become available in the secure document centre for download.
Which payment methods are available?+
Enabled gateways may include Paystack, Fincra and PayPal. PayPal amounts are converted from Naira to US dollars before redirection because PayPal does not process NGN directly.
Can I contact support during processing?+
Yes. Open a support ticket from your workspace, reply in the same conversation and reopen a closed ticket when further help is needed.
What is the difference between a Business Name and an LLC?+
A Business Name identifies a proprietorship or partnership, while an LLC is a separate company structure with directors and shareholders. The suitable option depends on ownership, risk, plans and how the organisation will operate.
Who is an Incorporated Trustee registration for?+
It is commonly used by associations, foundations, faith-based bodies, clubs, charities and other organised non-profit bodies. Its requirements and governance differ from a profit-making company.
Can I propose any name I want?+
You can submit proposed names, but approval depends on availability, restricted-word rules and the reviewing authority. Provide two clear alternatives and avoid assuming a name is approved until confirmation is issued.
Why do you request identity documents and signatures?+
Registration authorities require verified particulars for proprietors, directors, shareholders, trustees or executives. The precise documents shown in your form depend on the selected service and person role.
Can I add more than one director or trustee?+
Yes, where the registration type permits it. Add each person separately and provide the requested identity, address, contact and supporting documents for every person.
How are company shares assigned?+
For an LLC, the form records the percentage assigned to applicable shareholders. The allocation must be complete and accurate. Incorporated Trustees do not use company shares.
What file types and quality should I upload?+
Upload a clear, complete and readable file in a format accepted by the form. Avoid cropped edges, glare, shadows or expired identification. Each person’s file should be attached to the correct person.
Can I return to an earlier form step?+
Yes. Use the Previous or Back control to review earlier sections before final submission. Draft information is saved as you progress, but you should still verify every answer.
What does “Attention needed” mean?+
The review team requires a correction, answer or replacement document before processing can continue. Open the application to read and respond to the specific request.
What do the application statuses mean?+
Draft means the form is unfinished; awaiting payment means checkout is incomplete; submitted or pending means received; in review means documents are being checked; in progress means processing has begun; attention needed requires your response; completed means published deliverables are available.
How long will registration take?+
Timing depends on the service, document quality, name approval, queries and government or third-party processing. Any estimate is not a guaranteed completion date. Responding quickly to attention requests helps avoid preventable delays.
How can I confirm that payment succeeded?+
Return through the gateway’s completion flow and check the payment and application status in your account. If it remains unpaid after a successful debit, do not pay again immediately—contact support with the transaction reference.
Will I receive a receipt?+
Yes. Confirmed payments appear in your payment history with a downloadable receipt showing the payer, service, amount, gateway and reference.
Are government approval and name availability guaranteed?+
No. Decisions are made by the relevant authority. RegisterMe provides guidance, preparation and processing support but cannot guarantee approval of a name, mark or application.
Can I change submitted information?+
Contact support immediately. A change may be possible before a filing reaches a particular stage; later corrections or post-registration changes may require extra work, fees or a separate service.
Is my information safe?+
We apply account controls, private document access, session safeguards and audit records. You must also protect your password, OTP, authenticator and device, and report suspicious access promptly.
Can I use RegisterMe on my phone?+
Yes. Use the Android app or install the supported web app on an iPhone. Your account, applications, payments, tickets and published documents connect to the same platform.
What if I forgot my password or lost authenticator access?+
Use password recovery for your registered email. For lost authenticator access, follow the recovery option shown or contact support; identity verification may be required before security settings are changed.
How do refunds work?+
Eligibility depends on the processing stage and whether government, gateway or other third-party costs have already been incurred. Submit the application and payment references to support for review.
